REDWORMS
Our redworms are sold by the pound (about 1,000 worms). Have your bin with moist bedding ready and waiting for your worm's arrival. Red worms eat their weight in organic matter every 2 days -- 2 pounds of worms will eat 1 pound of waste per day. Outdoors, figure about 1 pound of worms per 1/2 cubic yard of waste.
The worms are prolific, multiplying every few months. Our worms are sold 'bedrun' meaning all sizes and ages are included in your order.
Shipping: Worm orders are sent via Priority Mail on Mondays and Tuesdays. Please alert your mail carrier or make arrangements to pick up your worms from the post office so that the worms are not left in the hot sun or the freezing cold.
